Psychosocial Recovery Coach
NDIS service has designed this new support for individuals with a psychosocial disability to take more control of their lives and to manage the complex challenges of day-to-day living better.
Psychosocial Recovery, what is it?

Psychosocial recovery coaches is a service which is provided to support individuals with psychosocial disability to recognise, reflect and take responsibility of their own recovery. The service is provided in a respectful and practical manner working with the client in mind.

The coaches work collaboratively with individuals, as well as with their families, support workers and other supports to design and implement a recovery plan and help with the coordination of other NDIS supports.

To access Psychosocial Recovery Coach, you are required to have support coordination provided in your plan under Capacity building. Psychosocial recovery coach is specifically for individuals who have a primary diagnosis of psychosocial disability.
